Tour de France 埼玉クリテリウム 2025

埼玉クリテは所謂ショーレースで、UCIポイントがないのでガチレースではない、ということは誰でも分かっている。でも流石はプロの集団、それでもレースを面白くするのだ。途中落車からの単独勝利、天晴れヴィンゲゴー。夕陽を背にしたエレガントな勝利ポーズ。結果は誰クルの人気ワンツースリーで決まったので、当てた方が多いと思う（私もその一人）。でもスプリントになるか、あるいは総合勢かという形を想定していた。総合勢のヴィンゲゴーが独走勝利し、追走のスプリンターが2位・3位は予想外の展開。エースのためにヴィスマはアシストが戻ってプロトンを追う。追いついたその後はログリッチ・ヴィンゲゴー・アブラハムセン・ウェレンスという豪華な逃げ。そこからログリッチとの2人旅。残り2kmでのアタック。ドラマチック！面白いいレースをありがとう。

2023年は現地で無料観戦していた。その時のクスとポガチャルのマッチアップを見た時も、流石プロは盛り上げるな、と思ったものだ。

The Saitama Criterium is a so-called show race, and everyone knows it’s not a serious contest since it doesn’t award UCI points. But true to their professional status, the peloton still made it entertaining. Vingegaard’s solo victory after crashing mid-race was brilliant. His elegant victory pose against the sunset backdrop. The result was a popular one-two-three finish, so I think many predicted it correctly (myself included). Still, I had anticipated either a sprint finish or a general classification contender winning. Vingegaard, the GC contender, soloed to victory, with the chasing sprinters taking 2nd and 3rd – an unexpected development. For their leader, Visma’s domestiques returned to chase down the peloton. Once caught, They had a stellar breakaway: Roglic, Vingegaard, Abrahamsen, and Wellens. Then it became a two-man battle with Roglic. The attack with 2km to go. Fantastic! Thank you for an exciting race.
